In June 2018, I attended an international conference held in The University of Iceland, Reykjavik. The conference is intended for researchers in management areas to discuss their research and receive constructive feedback. The theme of this year conference is ‘Research in Action’. The discussions centered on how researchers can use the output of research to change behaviour.
We discussed the need to harness our abilities as researchers, practitioners, and educators to find multidisciplinary solutions in pursuit of the common goal of a flourishing market in a turbulent time. In this highly interactive conference, I attended a variety of panel presentations that discuss new perspectives and results, together with practical sessions on Polishing the Research and Featured Speakers from industry and academia.
