Architectural Association’s Athens Visiting School – Resonance

During my time at the AA Athens Visiting School, I had the chance to gain hands-on experience on the notion of digital fabrication in Architecture, which was also one of the main themes of my dissertation. I have developed software skills related to architecture by attending several tutorials and seminars given at the school. The school communicated in a very direct way how computation can affect the way architecture is practiced by getting the participants exposed to fundamental computational techniques, relevant critical thinking and theoretical understanding. Last but not least, through the workshop I have made new friends from all over the world, with whom I share similar interests related to architecture.

The Go Abroad fund made this experience possible and therefore I am extremely grateful for receiving it. Thank you!
